The PR team is event-focused this month as we support The University of Texas MD Anderson Regional Care Centers in hosting standout breast cancer awareness evening celebrations in Sugar Land, Katy, The Woodlands and the Bay Area.
The Pink Lighting events have become a unique tradition recognizing breast cancer survivors, patients and caregivers. These signature events educate the public by celebrating survivorship, raising awareness, spreading hope, and offering encouragement to patients and caregivers. Crowds show their support by donning pink glow necklaces and cheering on survivor groups, while enjoying the celebration with local bands, photo booths, interactive art and more. MD Anderson’s physicians, volunteers and staff are also on hand to talk about the cancer services and support resources available in the community.
Working for a cause really gets us going, and we hope you join us when we are in your neighborhood. Even though we’re halfway through, we want to see you this evening at Market Street in The Woodlands or Saturday, Oct. 19 at Pearland Town Center.
